The visiting Fellowship at Tokyo Medical University under Professor
Yuichi Nagakawa is an excellent initiative by the Foundation. It provides an excellent opportunity to learn the technical aspects of the minimally invasive pancreatic surgery including the robotic pancreatic surgery. The entire Pancreatic Surgery Team at Tokyo Medical University was kind and supportive throughout my Fellowship tenure. Apart from the surgical training, I thoroughly enjoyed the morning departmental meetings and other academic activities. I was able to participate in more than 20 minimally invasive pancreatic resections. The Professor and his team were kind enough to explain the details of the procedure and answer my queries.
I express my deepest regards to Professor Senadhipan and his Foundation. I wish him more power and health.
