You are cordially invited to join us at the Grand Launch Ceremony of CANCURE Charitable Project to combat cancer- a joint initiative between Sree Uthram Tirunal Royal Hospital, Ulloor and Trivandrum Cancer Center.
CANCURE is a comprehensive Awareness, Prevention, Early Detection, Treatment and Rehabilitation program to the poor patients in Kerala , because the overloaded Government Centers can not sufficiently support these patients who have to wait their turn for treatment for over six months sometimes.
We are fortunate to have eminent personalities such as Padmasree Dr. M. Krishnan Nair (Founder Director of RCC and Head Oncology Department, Senior Consultant Oncology- Royal Hospital) guiding this initiative.
CANCURE aspires to treat at least 1000 needy patients in two years time.
The Grand Launch Ceremony will be from 5:30pm to 9:00pm, Golf Club, Kawdiar, Trivandrum on Saturday 3 September 2016 (Sorry for the short notice as the dates got finalized just yesterday).
Ms Sugathakumari, distinguished social activist and poet will be the chief guest at the ceremony along with other luminaries.
A musical tribute to Mohammed Rafi by Mohammad Aslam from A R Rahman’s Jai Ho team, interspersed by scintillating dance by Jazz Peckers- South India’s famous dance troupe has been organized, following the inauguration.
Admission to the launch ceremony is free. We encourage guests to donate generously to the CANCURE fund but with no compulsion.
Your helpful donations will be joined by ours to provide FREE CANCER TREATMENT to the needy patients. More details will be announced at the event. If you are unable to attend but would like to contribute, you may please do so by mail/ message. You may also pass the invitation to someone else to represent you at the event. We want very much to help these patients who otherwise are not able to afford timely and effective treatment.
Entry passes to the event may be collected from the front office of Royal Hospital, Ulloor, Trivandrum between 9:00am and 5:00pm from today till Saturday on first-come-first-serve basis. You are requested to present the passes for entry to the venue.
